DESIGN CHALLENGE: This client came to us with the wish to have their benefit guide delivered to their employees in the form of an interactive PDF. They had clear brand guidelines to work with: a strong logo, an additional wellness logo, and a color palette. We began the design process by solving a navigation challenge by placing a toolbar at the top of all pages, and a navigation buttons at the bottom of all pages. Having these in place allows the end-user to determine their own path of discovery through the guide. We incorporated various column widths to accommodate content uniquely on each page. This proved to be a game-changer. We selected photography to use on the cover and within the interior pages that seamlessly worked to create a beautiful design that incorporated the brand nicely. Not to mention (but we will), we just love the dog on the cover!
